Jim, you need to send your wife out with a shovel and tell her you need another pond. You may end up with a nice big Yellow toy!

:D:D:D I don't think that will work. She has an aversion to shovels.;)

That reminds me of when I was in a hardware store a few years ago, the guy in front of me was buying a shovel. I asked him if he knew how easy it was to hurt himself while using that "dangerous" shovel. He said, "Yep, that's why I'm buying this for my wife." The female checkout clerk was NOT amused.

Attachments for tractors are like leaches, they get stuck on you tractor, suck the money out of your wallet, and leave the wife with a frown. I'm always left with a smile though.

Jinman,
thanks for the info. It appears that all the specs I asked about are in the manual, so no need to get back to me. I called HF and they are completely out of stock in the warehouse and do not even know when they will be getting any. Good thing I am not in need of it for this coming season, although it would be nice to play with it.

Well I got in trouble earlier with the Moderators for posting a picture of Courtney Cox and wishing something like that would follow me home. Today I had to stop by the Kubota place to pick up a carb for one of my generators. So I thought I would walk around the lot. Then I remembered all of the snow I shoveled by hand last year. They had some really nice snow blowers.. More than I wanted to spend for the occasional snow. I ended up picking up this 7' rear blade. The dealer was willing to pay the tax difference for me. Now I can play in the dirt or snow.. Maybe I will keep my eyes open for a snow blower to follow me home some other time...

Jim, I didn't complain about your posting, but I thought it might lead to the thread taking a tangent. It's funny, I was going to tell you that the title to this thread was "Honey...look what followed me home," instead of "Look at the honey that followed me home.":) The Mods removed your post before I could reply.

That's a great looking new Bush Hog blade. I have one I need to do minor repairs to (like a gazillion other things I own) and it will be ready to go too. It's a Danuser blade I bought many years ago when the only tractor I had was my Ford Jubilee. The blade had a arm you could pull from the tractor seat to allow the blade to change angle and I've always wanted to put a hydraulic cylinder on it for that. One of these days. . . .

I got some new bolts and replaced the ones that sheared off on my splitter. I was extremely lucky that I didn't have to drill and use an ease out on the bolts. Since they were new and the threads were clean, I just tapped the outer perimeter of the broken bolt with a screwdriver used like a chisel, and they spun out from the threads enough that I could take them out by hand. Cool! I put in new bolts that are grade 5 instead of grade 2 like the originals.
