Bucket Hooks Hooks

/ Hooks #11
Besides the usual lifting, I set a 55 gallon drum in the bucket and wrap a chain from the hooks around the drum. Then I fill the drum about 2/3 full with water to water trees I have planted outside the reach of a garden hose. Use a 5 gallon bucket to dip the water out.

Uhmgawa - I agree with everything you said but I do find it funny that the biggest Kubota dealer where we live in NH (I'm making an assumption on dealer size, but I think I'm right) welds a bucket hook on the top of every bucket they sell. Also, I know it would be painful at the time to rupture a line or damage a cylinder while doing this, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do to get the task at hand done. Replacing a hydraulic line or rebuilding a damaged cylinder isn't all that big a deal. I'm not saying it's ideal if you strand your hydrostatic drive tracor because you blew a line off it, but replacing the line is a pretty small job. These tractors are made to work, and sometimes small stuff like that gets damaged in the process.
