House Demolition Question

The house is located off a busy state highway and there are other houses within a couple hundred yards so burning is not an option. Yesterday we had a home inspection on the property and they confirmed repairs would exceed the value of the home and provided us a detailed report which we can used if we decide to sell the property quickly "as is" which is likely going to be our first option. If no one is interested we will proceed with the demolition and then the land can sit unused until we can close the estate.

Another problem is that if someone intentionally burned a building and a brave fireman rushed inside to see if there was anyone to save, and the building collapsed on him, there would possibly also be homicide charges.
