how big of a box blade should I get?

I like a box blade to be as close to the width of the tires as possible. Not any narrower than the tires, and not more than 2-3" wider on each side if possible.

If a 7' box is wider than your tires, then that is what I would get.

I agree with s219.

Isn't the Mahindra 4025 approx 40 hp? My tractor is almost 50hp and my heavy duty 6 foot Gannon box blade will bring my tractor to its knees. So there's no way I'd choose an 8-foot box blade for a 40 hp tractor.

I agree as well.

8' would be fine in a sandbox, but if you really want to grade with it I wouldn't go any larger than a 7' box blade.

Key to all of this is soil type, sandy, loamy soils are easy to work whereas heavy clay is very difficult. Lightweight tractors are problematic. I have a Kubota MX5100 with R4 tires and heavy clay Eden shale soil. I six foot Dirt Dog is all it wants. I have been pleased with it. it is a 700+ lb. box blade. Ag tires will give you better traction.

What kind of implement? You say angle it & box blade. You don't angle a box blade but you do a back blade.

I can angle my box blade. :D

Echoing Fallon & S219, get one that's just a bit wider than your rears and as heavy as your 3pt can lift or you can afford, which ever taps out first. I have my rears set at 63" to the sidewalls & a Cammond 66" 2C2 weighing about 760# with the mechanical ripper shank mechanism & hinged back blade. It's a real nice match for my 32 Hp/5500# tractor. Combined with T&T and you can really shave down the soil with a lot of speed & control. Very competitve price, too.

That's tilt, not angle, at least not from what I can see. No different than the top & tilt cylinders you can install on any 3pt.

Braggart... I want one of those mini telehandlers. :p

It is also angled, look at the rear axle, the Toolcat is in crab steer, the box blade is at an angle to the direction of travel.

Not to useful, just did it to see what would happen.
