How can a rifle smell like cigarettes?

Worked with a guy that chain smoked, 5 to 6 packs a day (1970's). I would think that much smoking would infiltrate items or the tar would stick to stuff. Everything he was around smelled like smoke, including his rifles.

I used to work with a guy who smoked 3 packs a day, and that was him literally smoking like all the time. 6 packs, wow that's double fisting dedication!

I smoked Half & Half cigarettes for a couple of months, chewed Red Man and Beechnut for a year or two and finally Skoal for another 30 years, or so. Never once did I ever have the urge to chew on a cigar butt!

Most smokers are considerate of others, whether in their home or car.

And yet, I've never been anywhere in my life where I couldn't find a cigarette butt laying on the ground.

Not nearly as bad today as when I was young, but still see them everywhere.

Very true. And they carry the stench wherever they go. A woman I was interested in a few years who manages a convenience store I frequent. One day she wanted to show me the scent of the hand sanitizer they were selling, so she put a little on her hand and held it out to me. All that I could smell was the cigarettes... I very quickly lost interest in her.

If I have to stop for the light in the left turn lane, headed south at the bottom of the overpass at 3rd street and Pike street in Goshen, the street next to my truck is usually littered with dozens and dozens of cigarette butts. Pisses me off every time I see it.

You see this same thing at most signals that have long turn lanes along a median...

FWIW...Most all public places (including roads) in Germany are spotless...nobody litters...!

Pretty soon they won't be driving their Beemers either. Once the 'petrol' dries up now that Putin dried them up.

Boy am I glad I don't live there.

A good Havana cigar butt is a joy to chew on, besides if you don't have a cigar cutter, you have to chew then end off...
