How did you meet your better half?

Met my wife on a blind date. Got her phone number from a still good friend. 38 years now and still best friends. Got married in the courthouse in Cleveland, Ohio and our 'honeymoon was a corned beef sandwich at the Sportsmans club. Probably long gone now. ate lunch and she went back to work and so did I.

I was starting my first year at Teen Misssions BMW (Bible, Missionary, and Work Training Center), and she was a staff member. Teen Missions is based in Florida (Merritt Island), but we were both from VA. Long story short, we were in a high stress, intense environment, saw the best and worst in a short time, fell in love, and are about to celebrate our 32nd year married.

We met at the local tractor dealership where she was working the parts counter. She was, and still is the best parts person I've ever met.

Our first date was to the Mid South Wrestling event. She got the tickets for us.

I was filming mother moose with two calves and she hiking by,shortly afterwards she was planning spots to film damn the woman knows how to cook.

We were both individually invited for dinner along with other friends to the same home after church. When she found out I was related to my brother, she made up her mind she wasn't interested. 2 years later after her dad passed she moved home to temporarily live with her mom. Her mom and I attended the same church.... For some reason I got invited over lots for Sunday dinners. We were just good friends till she figured out that I wasn't at all like my brother. We dated for about 8 months and will have been married 41 years this fall.

Yep, first time I saw her she was in bed next to my mother.
Funny story that.












My mother was in hospital in a semi-private room and the ex was in the other bed.
After I left ma said she wouldn't stop asking questions about me.
Ended up dating about 7 years. Married 4.
I try and avoid hospitals if I can.
