Dirt Moving how do you float and orchard

I'am new to farming I farming almonds I spring tooth the back half of my orchard I just mowed the weeds down grounds not flat and havest is around the corner . I have a float for my tracktor 175 MF. need to know how to use the float . Do I disk then float I need help. thank you james

There may be some guys on TBN that do almonds but your best bet would be to ask around your area. A neighbor who farms almonds would be the best source of information. UC Davis also has a farm extension that you could contact.

What harvest method are you going to use? If it is the ground sweeper method then you need the ground baby-butt smooth and hard. Discing would seem to disturb the ground too much unless you float it and then roll it.

I'm not an almond farmer, just have seen it done here in the CA Central Valley. Take any suggestions with that knowledge.
