HRS,

I have a TC24DA and have purchased a 30 gal barrel and one of these

I then lengthened the pickup hose so that it reaches to the bottom of the small barrel. I have a neighbor that has a 250 gal off road diesel tank, so when I need fuel in my barrel I buy from him.

I just have a tire pump to put air in the barrel. This setup is made for a 5 gal jerry can but I wanted to have a little more fuel on hand. I will at some point use my air compressor but don't have it set up with a water trap as yet.

If time permits and you can, a quick picture of your setup would be nice.

I found the funnel with float at Walmart. It was with the gas cans. I've already pulled the the sticker, so I don't have the name. Sorry. It fits in the fuel port of the TC30 perfectly and stands upright by itself. I just have to pour the fuel and watch for the float to send up its little stem. Worked like a charm.

It may sound ridiculous to some for me to have several small fuel cans, but I will be using very little fuel, probably average a tank full per month. These little cans are not a problem and very easy to handle. They even lessened my hatred for those self venting spouts.

Smaller cans are brilliant!

You don't want the hose going to the bottom because that's where the water accumulates from condensation.
