How do you fuel your tractor (logistics, not finding the cap to the tank)?

Funny you should mention that dungmonkey, my girlfriend is pregnant expecting our 7thy child, the free cheese and milk is tasty also.

And you also 4Shits........you say IF you were a taxpayer, does this mean you too are on the dole and don't pay taxes?

Everyone needs help these days now start pushing the wagon for me, Fred

I simply responded to original posters request for how to fuel the tractor, NOT the fire.

Whoa, didn't think the reputation could get much lower...but it did.

>calling names
>pregnant girlfriend
>6 kids (+1 in the oven)
>"free" milk and cheese
>new tractor (unless it is for business/employment purposes)
>advocating fueling the tractor from the furnace fuel to get it for "free"

I normally don't make value judgements since it usually is none of my business. However, in our "entitled" society, I'm paying for "free" so it is my business.

Guess its my turn to get an interesting new name. Flame away. :fiery:

Trash like that will never get it. They don't care. They think they are "entitled" to it. They DESERVE it.

That's OK. It's not sustainable and when the country eventually runs out of money they'll resort to stealing. They'll eventually steal from the wrong person and well.. Do the math.

Not speaking to Fred's comments, just the situation in general.

There are some in this country who reach positions of power, and sustain them, by engaging in class warfare. They create confrontation between races, financial status, or just about anything else that will inflame passion. It matters none that these tactics rip at the core of our society, as long as they find enough low intelligence voters to turn out on election day.

Given there are far more middle/low income people, and ethnicities that are raised to see themselves as deserving victims, it's really quite easy to manipulate a selfish response. Well, we have finally reached the tipping point in the good ol' USA. Millions are no longer even bothering to look for work, foodstamps and other assistance are flowing like free beer - while ever smaller numbers are being taxed into oblivion to pay. It is the Marxist redistribution of wealth coming home to roost. Now, that the "majority" (those getting a free ride) outnumber the "minority" (those working and paying taxes), they can vote themselves benefits from the public trough. And, there is no end in sight.

The future of this country is quite bleak, in my opinion. The national debt, usually stated around 17 trillion, is actually well over 100 trillion when you toss in all the "off-the-books" obligations. It will NEVER be repaid, EVER! Sooner or later, especially when we lose our world reserve status, the financial house will come tumbling down. The Great Depression will be remembered as a picnic compared to what we, or our children, are soon to face.

I feel I have been greatly blessed as I move into my retirement years. Except for the farm toys, I am debt free. I have land with water and wildlife and have left the big city behind. I'm not doing the "prepper" thing but I am trying to become more independent. While there will be no true escape from calamity, I do believe things will be better for those who can take care of themselves.

Thank you God. Please heal our land.

You are 100% correct. I wish more people understood this even though it's so simple that it seems illogical that people don't get it.

God bless our country and our children.

Agreed, well worded. Problem as I see it, it doesn't matter who we vote into office, they're all part of the same problematic system. The only way "out" is for the taxpayers to simply quit paying taxes and let the corrupted government offices collapse. Refuse to dole out more to the politicians and government workers who simply take it and dole it out to those unwilling to work for it. It would be chaotic. When government workers weren't getting their paychecks and were forced to find real jobs and no real jobs exist, it would be bad. Individuals would need to work together to ensure mutual survival. Many may not.

What are the alternatives, continue putting bandaides on the problem and ignoring it until the whole system crashes? How many will survive that?

I think a well publicized and planned "cut off" date when taxpayers refuse to pay any more taxes would be one of the least damaging to society as a whole. We could start the rebuilding in our communities and work our way up from there.

That would be awesome if:

A) everyone would do it
B) the government hadn't already made that impossible through the payroll tax.

It would be a huge undertaking, and would require the companies to be involved too. When a workforce tells a company to quit paying their money out to the government or they're all walking out, I think it could happen. I think when the people in those companies that handle payroll and such are also "in the plan", I think it could happen. It is all a matter of everyone getting together on the subject, discussing it, and making some decisions. A "grass roots" movement... People that want things to be better can make them better, but not when there is no "group" to stand with. The political systems in place are simply too corrupted, people that truly want things to be better have no group to stand with in the current political landscape. We need to do away with the system as it is, no amount of voting new people into old positions is going to change the landscape.

The main hurdle I see, many people do not have the ability to govern themselves and their freedoms properly without giving in to excess and infringing on the freedoms of others.
