How do you store a chainsaw so it will not leak bar oil.

I store my Remington pole saw on end in a 5-gallon bucket. Let 'er leak.

I have Husqvarna, Echo, McCulloch and Remington electric. All leak bar oil.

let your neighbor borrow them. then they can leak and not mess your floor. Me? I put them on a cookie sheet with a paper towel beneath. seems to work out OK

I always buy pro grade saws and none of mine have leaked. Don't know if the pro saws are better built or I've just been lucky.

I don't buy Stihl any more. Only Husky's for me. I hated those stupid caps on the Stihls. I have a husky 562XP that I've been pretty happy with. Might open up the exhaust on it for a little more power.
