How far away is your property?

40 acres in the Ozarks. 123 miles away and takes about 2.5 hours to get there. I try to get there at least once a month and often camp there during warmer weather.

Our country property is about 900 miles away in central Pennsylvania. We visit several times each year, including at atleast a month during the summer. We plan to retire there in two years.

Currently living on 2 acres. Should be moving to 43 acres 3 miles out the road in TWO WEEKS!!!!

Have another 85 acres 1/4 mile out the road from the 43 acre tract but it is 1 mile off the highway. Another 29 acre farm 25 miles away and a few 2-4 acre lots within 5 miles.

We are living on our farm now. Previously we were weekenders only. Four hours a day on the road to work, and another 1/2 hour to the farm.

We were lucky to sell at the market peak. 2 plus years ago..give or take... in any case... it is a whole lot easier dealing with one place.

Unfortunate it looks like another two years before the workload on renovation will let up. But the horses have shelter and the farm house is perfect for the family. Just outbuildings, and minor farm house room stuff.... floors, trim, paint...etc....etc....

15 miles sure seemed like a long way away pack then......

I live on 1/3 acre in suburbia. 296 acres 2 hrs away. Go about every other weekend. Pics of new gate entrance and cabin.

It always gets me when I see the get-away and there is the DISH pointing from the roof line. Only joking a bit as we have ours too!

Live on an acre 4 miles outside of town. 24 more acres 30 miles farther out. Only been going up every 3-4 weeks or so lately.

It's a little over 300 miles. We have 120 acres in the sierra foothills of California near Yosemite National Park. We live on 1/2 acres in southern california. We visit our rural land about once a month and have started building our dream retirement home about 2 years ago. It's a long drive but we always look forward to go and can't wait to go back again.
So far, we have completed most of the infrastructure work. ... road/driveway, well, septic, water system and the barn....ect. Our place is in middle of nowhere with no neighbor within miles. Here's some pictures.

Ive got one of those durn dishes ! Heck, I even got a 32" flat screen, great in the winter, not much use in the good weather !

176 miles and about 3 hrs and 20 mins on a good night !

I hear you, we have direct at our camp and have to drive out about ten miles to get them to turn it on in the spring, refuse to have a phone at the camp. It is always funny as they will ask me how the picture looks and after the first year I learned to say wow that is perfect. No questions about the phone line needing to be hooked up to the box.
