IMO...The obvious key (to some of us) is testing...even while waiting for a vaccine there are others that are working on faster tests and monitoring that can be administered by employers and even the general public...
The Henny Penny purveyors predicting gloom and doom are so misguided they completely overlook the fact that we can and will be developing simpler, faster testing that will give people the confidence to return to a safe workplace...
Those wanting to rush everyone back to work and into public places simply can't fathom the fact that the biggest threat is a second wave...a much bigger threat than what a little more hardship will bring...
Test all you want. Soon as your exposed to it you could be infected. Go take your test kits and play with them all day.
What we will find out in the upcoming days is the 2 plus million predicted deaths will end up under 75,000 and that the death rate to already infected will be below .5-1% IF the news media will actually report it.
Did I just hear is heart attacks, respiratory viruses and other forms of death are ALL being attributed to Corona virus if the patient has any Corona virus in their systems????? This is being done to pad the Corona death statistics upwards? WTF is that?? If that is true, its not ethical science. I cant believe that could be happening, so dont quote me on it. It seems unbelievable.
We over reacted to keep the hospitals from failing. It worked.
We wont have a big second wave if we go back to work and use precautions while looking for a vaccine. A vaccine may never come, so what do we do if that happens? We stay home forever waiting for a vaccine to avoid a second wave and forget it, we all lose. Im in the crowd that says the healthy work and the unhealthy stay protected. We can walk & chew gum at the same time if we do it the right way.

I think you are the henny penny boy here. You think the sky is falling so we all have to stay home. I’m saying it’s a bad virus, but getting under the covers until a vaccine is discovered is more risky.
My wifes best friend is a PA and her hospital is laying off hundreds of employees. People are going to need other medical procedures.
