2006 DK45SC with about 980 hrs, used for a mix of horse maintenance duties, snowblowing, mowing and trail creation/maintenance.
The first summer I had it a 3PH lower lift arm came off while mowing a brushy field, leading to some excitement and moderate damage (repairs/replacement under warranty); important to replace the bale pins on the lift arms with bolts!! A couple of years in, I had shift forks/sychros replaced under warranty. A couple of years ago, the drawbar disappeared; I suspect the retaining pins fell out after brush extracted the hairpins. This past summer I broke both bevel gear cases, one in July and the other in October, working on trails in the woods...a total of 9 weeks of tractor downtime! Note that having cab lights project above the cab is not good if you mow around trees or work back in the woods. Finally, there is some sort of problem with the internal 3PH clutch; I can jamb the woodchipper without shearing the pin or stalling the tractor (the rpms drop a lot, but the engine keeps going)...this one could be more expensive even than the bevel gear cases, so I'm putting off further investigation as long as possible!
I have no reason to think any other brand could have guaranteed fewer issues, given how I use my tractor.
