How Many Hours on Your Kioti?

So far the take away is that the smallest tractor has done the most work, and like a lit fuse, it ended with a bang!

Yeah, but if mine lasted half that many hours I would be very pleased. Not to mention very dead, at the rate I am putting them on. Just shy of 300 hours in 2 3/4 years.

At this point, all I can say is that way too many of the hours on my tractor have been spent blowing snow!

Most of the smaller diesels are in the 6-8k range for rebuild, depending on maintenance and operating conditions. So I would say it did pretty well.
To add mine to the mix. It is a 2012 with just under 500 hours. Only 1 issue. Blew a hydrostat filter housing banjo bolt. Hole was drilled too big so when it was tapped there was very little threads for the bolt to engage. It gets regular maintenance, greased as required or more often for the loader. IMHO the loader should be greased every 6 hours or so under heavy use. And mine gets used a lot. Sealed pins are greased every day or 10 hours and these little tractors are not sealed. Bolts get checked every 25 hours or so. Engine oil gets changed when it is dirty, usually 60-80 hours depending on how hard it gets used. Only minor issues is the loader pin retaining bolts will back out quite a bit and the engine vibrates a little more than it should other than that this has been a good unit. CJ

I have a 2014 RX6620 PS cab. Only about 20 hours on it so far. Just dug up the leach line off my septic tank with the FEL. (don't have a back ho) It did just fine with no complaints. I do need to add weight in the rear tires. It is amazing how fast I removed all the dirt I needed to access the leach line, about 7' deep and 50' long.
I would not hesitate to buy another Kioti if I needed one.

I've had my Kioti CK35 going on 5 years now and still only have 170 hours on it and I've had nothing but trouble out of it. So I must have gotten a lemon. I've already had the clutch replaced and now I can't get it running. It will start but dies immediately. All I do is bush hog a couple of fields twice a year. I really feel like this thing is a piece of junk and I'll be trading it in ASAP. That is, if any other dealer will take it!

Hey JP: Trade if you must but if you want to fix it I'm sure you can get advice here. But start a new thread and tell us the build year because there is more than one version for things like the stop solenoid. Also, quantify what it means to die immediately ( one second, several seconds, etc.). What have you already done with what results? Have you checked for blockage in the fuel lines?

It's a 2009. And it would die within 1-2 seconds of firing up. So I had tested the ignition switch, took out the fuel and air filters and tested for fuel and air blockages, and tested all the relays. Then today I came across a similar problem in this forum and it mentioned the stop solenoid which you mentioned. So I thought I'd give it one more look tonight and traced the wiring from the solenoid back to the battery tonight and sure enough, I found a damaged wire (from a mouse I guess?) that went to the solenoid. So I patched the wire and it fired right up! I couldn't believe it was that quick and easy to fix.

With all that said, I guess I'll keep my tractor for now but I had to already replace my ignition switch too so I don't have much confidence in this tractor. Every year something (big or small) has gone wrong with it (maybe that's normal with a tractor?). So I'm hoping this year I'll get lucky and this will be my only problem!
