I had a 04 that was 100% trouble free. My 06 to date has only needed a new dash cluster for a faulty fuel gauge.

The Passat amazes me because it still has no rust on the body. That's 14 winters in W.Pa where they use liquid brine and salt on the roads. It is starting to have electrical gremlins.
