How many people own or have owned a vehicle which went over 300,000 miles?

I have a 2002 F250 with the 7.3 Powerstroke diesel that has 317,000 miles on it. I'd still be driving it if I hadn't been hit from behind in May while turning onto my road from the highway. The accident crushed the bed, pushing it into the cab a little, and bent my tow hitch. I'm not sure yet if the frame is damaged and it still runs and drives so, I'm hoping to either put a flatbed on it or put the motor and transmission into a different truck when I'm allowed to mess with it.

It's involved in a lawsuit and under a protection order. I settled with my insurance and bought a 2014 6.7 diesel, the 2002 sits until it's all settled.

Funny...you made me think of my old 1986 Camry.
Drove it 185,000 miles with no issues.
Was stolen from the parking lot of a major discount store.
Highway Patrol found it abandoned one week later about 50 miles away.
I had three cassette tapes in that car...Alan Jackson, Otis Redding and Best of Motown.
When the police found the car, the Alan Jackson tape was still there, the other two were gone. Not Alan Jackson fans, I reckon.
Anyways, the wife & I paid the $100 tow fee to get the car back, then gave it to some folks that needed a car.
They drove that Toyota to over 300,000 miles before it "gave up the ghost".
Not exactly the story you were looking for, but a story worth sharing and a funny memory for us.

496,000Km on a 87 Buick Grand National. I did install a larger turbo, larger injectors , higher lift cam, free flowing air cleaner and free flowing exhaust system. Used synthetic oil and changed every 10,000-16,000Km.
Vehicle still starts and runs but everything is worn out .

Past month or so, I have had the front end of my 170K mile 99 F150 completely redone, all new ball joints, control arms, pitman arm etc.. all new now, just today had the rear U joints replaced.. so at this point.. I bought the truck for 2K .. primarily because if had zero rust and it's a 4x4.. and now I'm into it for 13k +\-.. new paint, transmission, complet interior, breaks, radiator, AC compressorand clutch, numerous 100-200.00 other items that are to many to remember.. I'm planning on getting 300k out of this thing.

I've got about 160k on the clock of my old 99 F-350 with the 7.3 and 6 speed manual tranny. I've seen several of these trucks over 500k and still going. Those 7.3s don't put out anywhere near the power of today's diesels, but they sure have a reputation for running forever!

Not even close. Most of my "tough vehicle time" was spent in Alaska. If a vehicle lasted me 6-7 years and had 75K miles - it was most normally beat to S**T. Between the massive amounts of rock salt used in the winter and all the off-road four wheeling - they would be TOAST at 75K.
