How much do you pay to have your ride detailed?

Yesterday and last night we had a bit of snow. This morning it was 9F. However, at this time of year, it warms up quickly, and the snow melts quickly in the sunshine. We had about 12" but, by the time I took these pictures, the sunny spots had melted to about 4". If I didn't hurry, I wouldn't have had a chance to use the tractor.

Moving snow is one of my favorite things to do with the tractor. I think the snow is over for us. It is going to get down to 30* tonight.

Detailing is much more then a simple wash and wax and it a lot of hard work. Considering the normal amount of time to properly detail a vehicle is 8 to 10 hours, what would you consider a reasonable hourly rate to be then add 15% for products...

it is a lot of work,, my wife takes hers to a detail shop about every three months and has a complete detail.. it looks brand new.. when they finish with it.. it cost about 150 dollars for full detail.. four times a year.. or 600 dollars.. Now I was thinking a new one,, would cost on the cheap side.. 30000.. as long as she is happy I can go 50 years before it start costing more money.. less interest.. she drives a 2007 jeep wrangler-X two door.. and it looks like the day we bought it new,, when they finish.. They charge me 225 for my F 350 four door, four wheel drive, long wheel base,, diesel.. I like it dirty.. Lou67
