I ordered mine last week...$ 14,995 in NE PA, with bar tires, 10" BH bucket and 4 way valve. If you look at the other models, such as the 7500HST, the price of an aditional BH is over $ 5K, so I think that the price is reasonable especially if you consider that the base tractor is beefed up as well. The base tractor is 200+ lbs heaver than the
BX2200. I'm not sure when I will take delivery, dealer said end April, but judging by the posts here seems like the '22s are starting to roll out quicker.
BTW I looked at what was comparable from JD. The closest offered was the 4115. The JD dealer said that a BH was not "yet" available for that model, and maybe later this year it would be ready. In any case the price w/o BH, and with 60"mmm and a front mt snowblower (which I ordered on the
BX22) was over $ 6k more! I didn't think that the JD was as nicely put together. Interesting was the JD sales guy was recently at a JD sales meeting and he had a canned list of what were problems with the BX. 1) the seat belt may ratchet in on you in bumps and become too tight, 2) the fuel filler was not on the hood where "most" people like it, 3) the rocker pedal for the hst is not comfortable to use and your heal can get tired if you do a lot of backing up, and 4) the FEL joystick is too high and your arm may get tired with a lot of FEL work. I said to him "Is that all you could come up with ?" That was the final step that solidified my decision for the Kubota.
