The ZT mower is indeed fast, but it is noisy, messy and expensive in my experience.
I am giving serious thought to a cab JD or Kubota to replace our BX and go back to cutting grass with it again, maybe selling our Exmark Laser Z diesel.
One interesting point--Exmark has dropped Daihatsu (B&S owned) and will use Kubota diesels now.
I'd love more info on how easy JD MMM are to replace (taking it off is likely much easier). On my Kubota BX-2200, the dealer frankly recommends against taking it off if I can avoid it--it is that hard to re-attach.
As a result my lovely but equipment-aggressive wife uses the MMM as a bush hog when the spirit moves her, with the usual effect on blade integrity. And the **** thing gets in the way when you're raking hay.
At a Home Show over the weekend, the James River Equipment folks (JD dealer) told me the driveover mmm would not be available for many machines for some time. Anybody know any different?
We are considering the 3320 JD and Kubota's B3030, the smallest Cab tractors in each line.
