How well do shelter logic hold up in heavy snow areas?

I've had two different shelter logic carports, both held up quite well to nasty New England winters. I upgrades 5 years ago to a larger shelter logic which has be great even last winter with record snow falls. One thing I do is anchor the four corners in concrete. I've never had to remove snow of the model I have(SUV model) due to the pitch, snow seems to slide off on its own quite well. I'm actually taking a hard look at a 30'x30' model as I've accumulated more stuff in need of covering.

I had an agri fab 12x20 curved top design that collapsed after a blizzard that dumped 36 inches faster than I could get home to clean it off. My neighbor had the same size shelter logic one in the gable roof design that survived the same storm. I think the snow along the side walls had drifted high enough that the curved roof couldn't shed it any more, whereas his kept the weight off the structure. We both had reinforced the ridge pole to the sidewalls with some ratchet strapping to help hold them in under weight. His is going on 9 years old, I never replaced mine.
