How well do shelter logic hold up in heavy snow areas?

This is the one that I use....20 X 12 X 10.....it has a steeper pitch roof...snow does not accumulate but simply slides off....I also have the round top 24 X 12 X 10 however it does have a tendency to accumulate snow on top under certain conditions such as wet snow etc....

Buddy of mine has this one also, I like it, they weren't available when I purchased mine or I would have went with this one, I like the Inside height, he also made a front door for his to eliminate that pain in the neck zippered front.

Skyhook: yes that zippered front is certainly a pain...best I could do to at least improve on it was to replace the crappy plastic inside "pulleys" with small 3/4" steel double pulleys....improves the lifting action a great deal and much less cursing involved....Twister

I'm going to put sliding barn doors across the front of mine.

Next time I'm over at his place, I'll take a pic of the doors he made, pretty simple to make, two sheets of plywood and some 4x4's for the frame, the doors are in 2 foot sections.

I'll say this about the ShelterLogic company, any concern that I've had about anchors, zippers, condensation etc., they took care of it right away.
The one "heavy 1 inch rain......followed by 1/2 inch sleet......then 4 inches of snow" did no damage to the unit. And it has sustained winds up to 50 mph so far without an issue. I installed it last summer.........a 12 x 20 x 8 SP series with the most heavy cover.

However, where I live in Kansas, is not considered a "heavy snow area" per the OP's thread title.

Doors look real good. Did you consider installing a lover vent in the doors to cut down on the moisture.

All I have is my frame up I'm waiting for better weather to install the cover, but I may start making some plywood doors now that I've seen your.
