How would you fix this. (I DONT HAVE A WELDER)

Take it to a welder- no time to learn on the job!, You don't need it to break or twist again so that you can get some more practice time!. But get a welder, they are fun to use!

Didn't the OP say health conditions prevented him from welding?

Technically he could learn to OA weld, right? I think someone else on the forum had a pacemaker installed and was told to get off welding. He took up the fine art of the torch and is quite successful if I remember the posts.

So wedge40... just what tools do you have, can you use or available to you ?

Cutting, drilling and bolting in another bar is the second fastest way and can be welded at some later date when a friend is available.
Try the tractor pressure to straighten thing out, if not think about cutting and bolting.

Good luck to Ya.

More info.... I have irregular heart beat. So to be safe they implanted an ICD (Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator) It's a pacemaker on steroids. If heart gets to far out rhythm it will zapp the heart and correct. Ya know on tv when they get the paddles and zapp someone. Same thing only internal. They describe as getting kicked in the chest by a mule. I wish it was that mild. So I will NEVER take any chances of getting inadvertently zapped.
Haven't had time to try anything this weekend. I'll keep you posted.

Ok on your condition but what about your tool situation ?

Ask around and find the right guy to fix it for a fair price. Call your local tractor places, the farmer's coop...there's got to be somebody that will fix it correctly and price their work fairly. You've just to find that person.

simple. take it to a welder. Not trying to be snarky, but I'd have them cut out the twisted section and replace it with fresh stock and weld it in.

No learning curve here. Take it to a welder along with a bucket to attach it to. The real welder will put you back in business fast and it will be done right.
