Saw one the other day that wasn't case hardened but was 12ga with a 22 hornet insert and the bottom was 30-06 for 5.5k... Really interesting gun!

Sounds like a nice gun, but 12 ga. drillings are HEAVY, because they need to be built on a large frame. 16 and 20 ga. guns are MUCH lighter, and much handier too...

My Krieghoff is a steel frame gun and weighs in right at 7 pounds, so it's an easy carry too...even for bird hunting, including big birds. lol
