I can't say if that is a good neighbor, or not, but Karnac says gunplay AIN'T that far behind!

Four to six inches is typical in snow protected areas. It is the plowed off areas exposed to the wind where it goes deep as much as six feet in the north. The frost here doesn't go down as far as I expected. It is only about 6" deep right now. I was it to be expecting at least 12".
We had a good snow cover on the ground before it got really cold and stayed covered through all of January and February. I guess that insulated the ground so the frost didn't go as deep as I thought it would.
