How's everyone doing with the SNOW

I've been meaning to brag and ask if you guys got any snow this winter SINCE OURS IS ALL GONE!!

Tonight we are supposed to get 1-3", figures. Luckily, ours will leave here pretty quickly. I've shoveled too much snow in April to put up all my shovels, or put the mower in the tractor.

It's not nice to fool with Mother Nature. She can be a ornery hussy. With 6-10% of the Sun being blacked out, winter could just come back around, I which case, I'm gonna need more firewood!

Sorry, I'm sure that much of the Sun being blacked out has nothing to do with it, im sure it's anthropegenic global warming causing the cold. Wonder how we affected the Sun? I'm certain Algore will let us know soon as he can figure a way to make money off it. At least this disclaimer will keep him from cutting me off his fantastic Interweb!

Don't never, ever sell March short! Some of our nastiest snow storms have come in March. Says the guy that took the snow blower off yesterday:eek:. Time will tell.

I had to take my snow blower off today to level some gravel with my York Rake. When I finished I looked at the blower and thought do I really want to put that back? Being a firm believer in Murphy's law and the fact that it is still early April I put it back on the tractor. Better to do it now and not need it than to have to put it on in a snow storm!!

Temps finally got up to 59*F here today. About a week of this would melt some of my 8' high piles. Right now everything that's melting is making a lot of mud.

We still have two feet on the ground BUT I had to take off the blower and sub frame so I could put on the loader and backhoe to open up my septic last week due to blocked baffle. After digging that tank for the third time in 14 yearsI finally put three risers in so that the hatch is about 2 inches below the surface now instead of 36 inches. Thankfully the sand we have here doesn't hold frost and it was an easy dig. If necessary I'll put the subframe on and plow or blow as necessary. Bring it on!
