Re: HST Just Won\'t Stop, Quit, Woah!
Day before yesterday, the work was done on my TC35D. The dealer fixed my hydraulic oil leak (it was the test ports) and ordered the parts I requested to fix the HST pedal return problem. He called me to advise that the pivot arm and spring did not need replacing: just the spring. He said on earlier tractors, the pivot arm broke at the weld, but my tractor was newer and didn't need this fix. (Jinman's problem with his break???) They replaced the spring with one that looks just like PineRidge's.
My tractor now performs much better. When going uphill under load, the tractor stops within a few feet, rather than acting like the cruise control is activated. I'm happy with the fix.
AFTER havin the fix, I read the thread by PineRidge. I guess I'll have to watch this problem ..... His cure for perhaps more hilly property may not have proved as satasfactory. Thanks for alerting me to the spring change anyway! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
My tractor is significantly better, but not perfect. I can live with this now. Perfect would be like it stops on level ground: On a dime with two cents change.
Another topic: I took my loader off for the first time today, then put it back on again. What a joy!
My loader on my 8N Ford was a pain to get on and off and years ago cost me a trip to the emergency room to get my finger sewn back on! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif This is a wonderful system! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gifo /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifo:
