HST Wine, Not any more

You know, if you squirt some of that expanding foam into your ears, there would also be less/no HST noise??? Just a thought as i wonder out to feed the dogs on this cold rainy day.:laughing: :thumbsup:

Actually I almost did. My can of foam didn't have the screw on top so I stuck my tubing over the end and applied a small hose clamp. Then I set the other end of the tubing into the hole I had drilled and proceeded to start adding the foam. I had my ear down close to the can to try and hear if the foam was coming out of the can. Suddenly the hose popped off and I had foam all over my shirt, face, hair, wall, etc.

Great idea! It would take a lot less foam too. Well, for most of us anyway...

You boys ain't right

I too solved my BX23's whine, but I took a different tact.
Instead of muffling the resonations (which is a great idea btw) I just used the noise cancelation technique. I added a radio to the ROPS and just crank it up until it cancels out the whine, & MMM and fuss'n wife & neighbors (who don't seem to like my music selection), yep, it just about cancels out everything.

LOL! You guys are great. Thanks for the smile ya brought to may face AND the good laughs! Foam is a good economical fix, but I like the stereo idea. Can't get enough volume outta my iPhone with headphones to take care of all those "other" noises..... Ya'll have a great weekend!

Yep foam is a good economical fix but it don't always work, tried it with me first wife and she just kept clawing her way outa the box, finally had tuh use the ole scattergun, yuh know fight noise with noise. Then I meets me heart o me life a deaf mute with great touchie bits and I'm a HAPPY camper.:laughing:
