About to pull the carb to pieces on Husq 435 I bought new around 15 years ago, has been trouble-free until now.

No nearby Husq dealers these days so will be getting a carb kit online.

Wondering if there are other possible items commonly needing replacement on this model while I'm doing the carb, for instance can see a plastic boot around the intake area - maybe it cracks on a saw this age?

Never had to replace anything crazy on locals 435's. Strato saws.

Most just needed a tuning of carb came lean, rebuild kit, plug.

Dont get tricked. Pull muffler check that piston cylinder out.

Rest is up to you to inspect. GL

I have the Jonsered version (CS2240). Mine is from 2017, and the only thing that goes bad over and over is the carb, due to gas and climate issues.

I get fantastic results with a combination of Red Armor and Biobor EB. I use zero-corn gas. In chainsaws, Sta-bil is a joke and a waste of money.
