I agree.. I've got a chinese pancake compressor i paid 80$ for 6 ys ago.. I've use dthat thing plus and extra air tank to paint 3 tractors. in some cases, the unit was running continously.... that other unit should last longer.. though I'm not a fan of those high -db oil less compressors. Ever compressor I've seen ditched was either due to a motor failure ( oil type pump ).. or a cyl failure... ( oiless )..

Found the problem...apparently, some dirt got in the cylinder and tore the piston ring and really put some grooves in the cylinder. Anyone know how much it would be to fix? I think, if I can, I will just replace the entire head. Maybe I should just buy a new one? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
