I have a "61 international 460 .everything was working fine. I was using it and blew a line.(I think it was rubbing.) replaced the line everything worked good.I had a leaking rear wheel seal and a newer loader valve. I figure I would replace them before I topped off the oil. Replace them top off the oil, the bucket only curls about 1" and will not lift.I figure it may be a low internal valve settting and locate a Nos Gresen valve that is supposed to have the same settings as the original,I swap it out the bucket curls about 6" and lifts about an inch after enough BS I reinstall the original valve. It's doing the same thing as valve #2.Any ideas?

Have you checked the pressure of the relief valve? A 3000psi gauge can be had for under $20.00, add the price of a few fittings and you will at least have an idea where to start troubleshooting.

I have a 10k psi guage and fittings on the way, I couldn't find one local and had to order one. It's a bit of a head scratcher, but after 3 valves with pretty much the same result I dont think it's that(lol)

Any possibility you mixed the lines as you did the exchange?;)

No chance, the routing of the hoses and positioning of the valve will not allow it. It's hard to explain, it's almost like each hose was made for the valve.

No offense, but I know a guy (me) that can flubble up a connection pretty easily! Can't hurt to double check. Disconnect all the lines to the cylinders and direct them into buckets. Ease into the control and make sure that they are in fact doing the correct thing. Mark the hoses with masking tape before taking them off so you can tell.

While embarassing, it's better than a non-working loader.

I doubt it would be the relief valveiIf everything was working fine before, but it could be too? It could be as simple as cleaning/changing the suction strainer? Maybe the added oil stirred up some stuff? Or, one of the hose fitting is sucking air into it? Your pressure gauge will tell you that.

I think I may have located my pressure problem.Out of boredom and frustration,I removed the pump...It's kinda cracked

OUCH!

I hate when that happens!

Oh man ... yeah that hurts.
In my earlier post I was going to mention maybe something happened to the pump, but since it worked fine before, I figured that would not be it.
Big mistake! Sorry man.
How do you suppose THAT happened and when?

I think maybe the erratic hydraulics I thought was a worn valve may have been the pump failing. And when the system lost it's prime it just woudn't come back. It seems a little odd too, the way the pump cracked. The crack runs straight down, and divides 50/50. It almost looks like sometime in it's "history",the pump may have been apart and reassembled poorly? Like one side was tightened.then the other side? It's odd,but it's old..so who knows.

I looked back at your picture. That looks like the preferred failure point of the design. It is the longest chord across the face and interrupted by the shaft hole. Lots of stresses and varying thicknesses. A challenge to make it last forever with all the pressure cycling. Needs to be steel rather than die cast.

Was the engin hard to start after instaling the first valve? Mabe the replacement valve wes closed centre valve and the oil had no where to go, breaking pump.

No hard start, but it's a "true" 50hp. class tractor. That pump is no match for that big 6 cyl.
I think age/misuse may be responsible for the pump failure.
