Then just get 2 single acting cylinders because that is what you would have. It would also be cheaper too.

The DA cylinders give you an advantage especially if you have the center hose primed and bled in that you do not need any mechanical advantage to operate the cylinder rods together. This could make a difference depending on the actual application.

For the way his valve was working, I am guessing the middle hose & cylinder are not oil filled, and they are in fact operating as single acting. Big companies are funny that way. For you & I, a SA cyl would be cheaper than a double acting, but their ecconomies of scale can make it the other way around.

I called to dealer about the hyd swing. He mailed me so info. I under stand now, I thought I would past it along
