I'm taking a guess but the port that is labeled tank is for when it go past the pressure point and that's where the extra comes out to drain to the tank and the other 2 ports are for the lines to hook up to

There should be an arrow and maybe some letters on the valve.

Exactly which valve did you receive?

If you ordered the RV relief valve, look at the picture.

I believe it comes set to 2000 psi, so set it where you want.

I believe I have around 8 GPM and 2,000 psi at my auxiliary hydraulics which falls
within the 7-9 gpm range and 1500-2,000 psi for the saw.

I think if you check your service manual, you will find that your tractor puts out 2500+psi, which is
too much for most of these saws. If you use the factory AUX valve, then it does not have its own
relief. An aftermkt valve would have its own RV, which you can turn down to 2000psi.

I bought crossover RVs (HydraForce) to power this Fairmont from my tractor, and a new Reliable
pole saw to run off my old JD. I also had an old Stanley (Ackley) CS07.

These saws worked great and were quiet. There's a thread on TBN somewhere about that project.

I have sold all of my hyd saws, but still have one of the crossover RV setups.
