I looked at the parts catalog and at that hose #19, which you pointed out. It seems to be the one in question, but the hose it connects to in the diagram is not correct. The following is speculation on my part, but this is where I think the problem is coming from:
Firstly, the Summit TX25 clearly appears to be a rebranded and re-optioned Solis H26.
Secondly, the Summit LX85 Loader is not made by Solis; it is made by a loader company called Alo.
I suspect that the parts diagram is pulled directly from the SOLIS H-26 Parts Catalogue, as it is identical. Actually, the whole Summit parts catalogue appears to be the same as the Solis H-26 parts catalog, with the exceptions that the title pages changed from Solis to Summit and any model references are changed from Solis to Summit, with some pagination differences.
The photo on the front of the Solis H-26 parts catalog shows the H26 tractor with
no loader or loader manifold installed, so it is the pure agricultural model of the Solis, on which the Solis H26 parts catalogue (and Summit's) is based.
The Summit
only comes with a loader, but since the diagrams that show hose #19 are from the Solis catalogue, the hose that #19 is connected to is incorrect in the diagram because it's for the non-loader Solis.
I think that this is confusing the parts people at Summit.
The hose that #19 i
n the Tractor Parts catalog should connect to is #26 in the
Gen 2 Loader parts catalogue. (See section "C" in the attached image)
So what I am saying is that I think you are correct with the hose you are specifying, but the Summit people are very confused. They really need to read this thread carefully to determine if I am correct, because they are probably going to be getting quite a few more warranty calls for this part in the near future.
All of this being said, the hose #19 may also be incorrect as it is for the Solis H26, and perhaps the Summit requires a unique, longer hose to connect the tractor to the oader manifold.
It feels like something is going on at Summit recently. Their physical address on their website changed, and the new address is the same as Solis in GA. Also, the replacement loader pin I received earlier this year came from Summit in GA, while the hose they sent in August (the wrong one) came from Solis in GA. Additionally, I was instructed to send photos of the broken hose to a @solistractors email address, where, before, I would send info about parts to
support@summittractors.com.
I do not have a problem with companies restructuring, but communication has been poor since I have noticed this happening, and it seems like there is significant customer confusion outside of just me.
