You are gonna need a manufacturer and model in order to source that kit anywhere but the mower manufacturer.
Does anyone know of a better place to get the seal kit? I壇 about decided to pay the $66 but then they wanted $16 shipping. That痴 highway robbery. This would first in a padded envelope and ship for $2.

Wow, maybe we need to set up a go-fund-me for your $14.![]()
When I'm fixing a tool, my own measurement of if something costs too much is not so much how many dollars the parts are selling for, but how much the tool will do for me if it is fixed. In this case it sounds like $100 in parts will at least let you know if seals are the problem with that hydraulic motor, and maybe even fix a couple of thousand dollars worth of Grasshopper mower. Personally, I'd take that bet; it sounds like a deal to me. For that matter, I wonder what a complete hydraulic motor costs?
Sounds to me like you have been pretty lucky with that thing so far. I'd be tickled to find a Grasshopper locally that only needed some hydraulic work.
