Hello forum
2009 Mahindra 2816 3. Cylinder Mitsubishi diesel
Hydraulic fluid pressure builds up after using the bucket. When this happens I release the pressure by pulling out the dipstick tube under the seat. I can hear and see the fluid pressure release like a volcano.
Is there air getting in a hose? Is there a vent that is plugged?
What else could it be? Hydraulic works slow is how I know the pressure is building up too much meaning he bucket tips and raises slowly.

That most likely a clogged vent. I don't know where it sits on that tractor, maybe someone who knows better can tell you.

I'll still look on the Mahindra parts catalog.

Found it. It's located on top of the rockshaft housing.

Hey PTSG,
I don't have this machine so it doesn't affect me, but you researched the machine this person has, they are a new member so you don't know if they are gonna contribute to this site, and you helped anyway. Good for you! This is one of the reasons I really like TBN.
Thanks Again,
Eric

I just enjoy helping when I can, after all, that's the purpose of the forum. To help and to get help as the need arises.

To be honest, I very seldomly look at "forum age" of a member but if I can help some, I'll do it regardless. Also I really enjoy going through parts and service manuals. I like to see how these tractors are put together, how they work, etc. One can learn a lot by doing that too.

I've sent hours going through manuals just to maybe give some pointers on a thread, helping someone. I don't regret it but I'll say it's nice when people come back to the forum to at least give us an update on the situation.

from reading his first post it sounds like it is sucking air and foaming up, if so he should see some foam coming out of the vent if it is clear.

The mud dapper wasps are terrible for plugging vents.

Possible wasp nest in vent tube. Mud came out with a pick inserted in tube. I tried to poke a wire in further but it would not make the bend. Blew out with air.So far so good
