Hydraulic Top Link for Mahindra Max26L

Is the shock absorbing function an extra benefit vs a regular 3rd function setup?

For heavy cutting, filling and digging I see the shock absorption as a negative. I use a box and like the exact control.
A true top and tilt setup wouldn’t/shouldn’t move.

Okay, I read that long thread from 2010 introducing the Hydraulink. You guys really busted his chops. :) Looks like Agri-Supply no longer carries it but Northern Tool does. Seems like the HL website may be defunct. Hmmmm, maybe not a success?

Regarding the float, or shock absorption, my 3-point has built in float anyhow. Something I'm having to adjust to.

Thing is, adding a true HTL when you don't already have rear remote seems to cost around $1,000. That is quite a bit of $$$.

Yes around $1000 to do that. If that’s too steep you could use a diverter off your curl cylinder circuit and run it that way. That setup is only a few hundred bucks for parts. With that setup you would press an electric button and then use the loader lever to actually control the rear HTL.

The same setup could be used to control a grapple bucket etc off the front.

I just use the swivel ball end cylinders from surplus center and operate from a rear remote. Multiple stroke lengths available. The ball ends allow some horizontal or lateral movement not restricted by the lower link stabilizers. The ball ends fit between the narrow mount widths of top link brackets. Not a fan of tilt cylinders as I too have multi- adjustment backblade.

Hmmm, so basically you'd have a button that would divert the hydraulic power to the rear top-link. Then can you switch it back and forth pretty quickly? Say you use it to adjust the tilt of your box blade, then can you switch it back to the FEL, or would that cause the rear implement to go down? Oh I see, just the CURL, so you could still raise/lower the FEL, but not curl?

I had the dealer install a rear hyd outlet on my 1526 before delivery. I have hyd side link kits from Fit Rite Hydraulics - fitritehydraulics.com on two of my tractors. Once the implement is mounted, I use the side links to be able to crown my drive and trails. I have no real need for the top link hyd kit, I do not have to move that once I get the correct length on the land plane, rake, or rear blade. Just use the side link to tilt the implement depending on what side/direction of the road I am on. Works great..!!! Fit Rite does quality work, but his crew is pretty slow, since he does not have one.... :)

The button is typically on the joystick. The works normal until you press the button. When the button is pressed and held it would divert to control the rear HTL or whatever else you wanted to hook up. As soon as you release the button the joystick works per normal again.

That sounds like it could work. I'll ask my dealer about it on Monday. Thanks!

Thanks; that diagram helps me understand it. How much more (est.) to do the side link?

I see you have started a lot of good threads. Am going to go root through them for a while. :)
