ProTools Direct Ridgid #377 Flare Tool $94.91, and is used for 37 degree flare fittings. Amazingly, there was a used #377 that recently sold on Ebay for $127!

The Ridgid bender for hardened tubing is the Ridgid #406, which runs $53.55 at that site.

I've seen lots of 'alternate' plumbing for hyds.. especially on older tractors. For instance.. on the old ford N's ( 1939 - 1952 ). there was a hyd test port in the rear diff... ( the hyd pump was in the bottom of the diff ).. and you could chain your lift arms down, and tap into this port.. and get hyd pressure there when you moved your three point controll.

I've seen iron plunbing, and cast. Even saw a hose style sphighot valve... plumbed into one of those circuits... that blew my mind.. was old and still in operation... I was simply amazed.

Course the N's hyd system was 1500 - 1700 psi at 2.9 gpm.. when NEW.... subtract for wear and tear.. etc..
