I have a Kubota L3010 with the Kubota rear hydraulic valve (#1)
that I am running a log splitter from that has its own Prince LS3000 log splitter valve. I ran the thing when I first set it up or a few minutes and my Kubota valve stayed in the detent position fine and I could run the splitter from its own valve in both directions. After a few splits, the Kubota valve would no longer stay in detent so I have to hold it in one position or another. If I put the splitter's valve in detent, then I can run splitter in both directions just using the Kubota valve.
What could be keeping my Kubota valve from staying in detent?
I am new to hydraulics.

Dealer says it could be too much pressure coming back to the Kubota. There is a pressure relief adjustable valve on the Prince Logsplitter valve. Should that be adjusted any for my tractor's flow? There are two pressure relief settings on the Prince valve, one for its own detent and one for pressure relief valve. It is preset at factory to 2250psi at 3gpm.
