Does anyone know how much hydraulic fluid a 2610H holds? The manual doesn't say and when google it I see anywhere from 2.9 to 12 gallons. Here what in the manual and it can not be correct there is no way this is all it takes.

Your right 2.9 Gallon seem very low...

online I keep seeing 37 (9.77) I don't know what that means as there is no unit of measurement and the rest of the quantity are not exactly the same as your manual.

This guy put 6 Gallon in which sound right although it is a 2515h .

My 2400H is around 3 gallons. Not sure how it compares in size to the 2610H though

3 gallons is about right for that model.

What I find interesting is various manuals listing 2.9 gal, but then have either 10, 11 or 13 liters as a conversion for the same 2.9 gal.

If 2.9 gal is correct for an HST tractor, it would mean there is another reservoir for the hydraulics. since that is not listed, I'd think 2.9 is wrong. My 19 hp Mahandra takes 4.5 gal.

they are combine, in his manual it is listed ... My tractor only has one reservoir I believe it is common for HST to only have one reservoir for both.

From the owners manual.

And yes, an HST has one reservoir

I have an idea. Buy three gallons, drain it, and see what comes out and update us.

If 2610 is like my 2400H there are three drain plugs for the rear end. If you don’t drain all three the amount required to fill will vary.

if it has a sight glass or a dipstick, put it in and check the level via the glass or stick, Easy peasy. Just don't use cheap TSC fluid.

The hydraulic pump is 7.7GPM so I don't see how you can maintain that GPM with only 2.9 gallons of fluid on board.

37L = 9.77 gallons
Way too much fluid for that; my 3520h has about 9 gallons.

it’s circular circuit it goes back to the thank theirs not much in the system away from the tank … it would surprise me very much that the manual is wrong … my 60hp hst tractor has 5 gallon

Just drain it and tell us what comes out. That's what I'd do.
Yeah, that would work if you don't care about having enough fluid on hand to be able to refill it. I believe in having everything on hand and ready to go when I service something

If the book says 3 Gal, get 3 Gal. You won't be able to put all 3 gallons because you won't be able to drain it all out anyway.

He would get a definitive answer... Here he won't. Faster to run to the store if need be, than to ruminate on conjecture. Buy 10 gallons and surely have enough. Return 5 gallons when your see three come out. This is such an easy thing to overcome

I buy 10 gals. my tractor will use most of the 10 gals.
