No you don't need to bleed the lines, but maybe add hydraulic fluid depending on level. No tape on most fittings they are compression fittings. Unless one end is the connector with NPT threads then use teflon sealant but on the thread only.

My EA grapple uses all NPT fittings on the hoses. I use LocTite 545 sealant on NPT hydraulic threads. It does not drop pieces of tape that can damage hydraulic pumps and it seals better than teflon pipe dope.
My EA grapple came with swivel fittings on one end of each hose from the distribution block to the two lids. Make sure you get a swivel fitting for those hoses if that's the one that broke. Otherwise the hose has to twist as the lid opens which damages it over time.
You can just install the hose (after flushing out any debris from manufacture). Operate the grapple a few times to get the air out.
