Hydro Whine Fix?

Of course I've got some whine with my hydro transmission. I was wondering if there is any type of fluid that will lessen the whine. I read on the Kubota forum about SUDT2 for their tractors and was wondering if it would work just as good in my 1635. Or is there something comparable for Massey Ferguson to help lessen the whine?

I would assume you have the Permatran oil in yours. I think it the nature of the beast that hydro drives whine. I don't know of any oil for the Massey that would quiet the whine.

Ah. So the stuff they're using in their Kubotas probably wouldn't make a difference?

I doubt it. I think its more of a mind game, making them feel better about the whine then it actually doing anything.

Wasn't sure. It doesn't really bother me that much. Just figured if there was a remedy I might look into it.
