My preference would be to series another valve into the loop. The multiplexers will get you more outlets but none of them will have float. To me float is an important function, I can use it will single action cylinders, I can use it on motor circuits , or to let a double action cylinder float.
I use the following:
1st remote controls top link
2nd remote controls offset of landscape rake
3rd remote controls rake tilt
4th remote works the hydraulic tail wheel
So for my needs speed of the 4 hydraulic cylinders is not much of a priority, all I require is minimal adjustment

I disagree with that. Least in my M9 cab, with 3 sets (6 outlets) I still have a blank space for yet another set and actuator lever.
Let's see, we are talking about cab tractors under 85HP.
Your tractor is in excess of 85HP, yes?
So you have a larger tractor than what is being discussed, here, yes?
I believe that I had said earlier.
"I know of no tractor under 85HP that even offers 4 sets (8 couplers) of rear remotes"

And if you want to bump up to over 85 HP (so that you will have personal experience). How easy would it be to add a 5th manual controlled valve to your tractor? And before you say there is no need for 5 sets of controls, there can easily be a need for that if you have top & tilt for the 3pt and are using a rear blade that has 3 if not 4 separate hydraulics to be controlled.

My present TC40D New Holland 40hp had 4 remotes and the tractor I purchased yesterday a LS MT242HC 42hp will be equipped with 2 factory installed rear remotes and a Summit hydraulic multiplier that will bring the total up to 4 rear remotes so it is indeed done

Oh, it is most definitely done.

I have set up an LS years ago with 7 sets of rear remote couplers.

My 2 utility tractors have 5 and 4. Now mine are open station tractors and the additions are only diverters, but still have the need for that many sets of rear remotes.

People don't remember that
30 years + 15 maybe. By 1994 my father had owned several Kubotas. He traded the 8N for an L235 in 1977, the year that I got out of high school, upgraded to a L275, swapped that toward a L2550 because he realized he wantsd power steering, and also had a twin cylinder 2WD that he'd bought from a friend.

I think you will like the tractor. LS is still the new kid on the block and gaining market share. The only reason I didn't consider one when I was shopping 7 years ago is because I don't trust the dealer. He's the kind of guy who if he shakes your hand you count your fingers afterwards to make sure you got them all back.

I was told that New Holland doesn’t make compact tractors turns out LS makes them and then they are rebranded New Holland, don’t know if that’s correct but thought I would throw that out there. Also heard of new LS owners finding New Holland manuals with the equipment after the purchase. My deciding factor was the fact that it came with options that you would pay extra for with a NH. The fact that it had great fit/finish and was 10k less was the deciding factor and who can beat 0% interest? I’m sure I’ll be a “happy camper”

This coming week we start cleaning up the New Holland Boomer and backhoe in preparation for placing it on the market. It’s going to be like watching an old friend fade off into the distance. It will be a solid tractor for whoever buys it, the only thing that might benefit it is new tires.

You are correct, LS builds both New Holland and Case compact tractors.

I really think LS fit and finish is right up there with the best of them. I think this was a benefit of their partnership with Case/New Holland, is that CNH required this as they compete with John Deere. When the partnership started, that is really when LS upped their game.

Of the 3 Korean brands, I believe LS has the best Fit & Finish followed closely with Kioti which does a decent job. TYM is the overall value leader but is a good ways behind LS and Kioti, and most other tractor brands as far as overal fit and finish goes. TYM isn’t bad, especially compared to older machines, but not up to current standards other manufacturers are doing now.
