oosik I concur. I have been wallowing in this for weeks. I will likely continue to do so. I have no compelling urgency to buy a tractor , more desire. While I can use one now its not critical.
“The farm” is an escape for me. I grew up in the country (12 acres) surrounded by woods , hunted and trampled through the woods seemingly 1000s of miles. I worked occasionally on a cattle farm driving a JD 4020 , all fond memories.
Now I need to make a sound decision. I wont rush it. Keep the advice coming guys , I need the help.

Believe the OP could benefit significantly from your own buyers thread, I have suggested to several posters that a visit to your purchase scenario is a valuable read. Offer him the link?

That thread is always available for anyone - The only downfall to my research is that it is cab model specific so I sometimes wonder if open station models average a different percentage off list prices. I also originally was focusing on CUT tractors and bounced into a Utility tractor but I didn't price compare or test drive many of the competing brand's Utility tractors which would have been nice to have added more Utility tractors to the list for comparison.

Maharaja, here is the thread with prices of different tractors: hopefully it can give you perspective on whether you are getting a good price

Another thread discussing the M7060 and Case 75C (same tractor as NH Powerstar/T4.75)

JD 4020, had one and loved that beast.. Wish I still had it.. Don't be afraid of the Massey at all if you find something close by, Massey makes a rugged tractor in the HP range your looking into and will serve you as well as any top brand tractor, the dealer being close IS important, running all over the earth looking for parts or trucking equipment far to far away places costs money..

Hey thanks
Piedmont region of Georgia
No swamps
No mountains
12 door

Thanks
12 door???

Is that a 12' high door?
My choke point reference was do you have any dimensions the tractor MUST fit through.
Many people up north think they HAVE to garage their tractor in the winter but have garage doors that are not high enough, and sometimes they don't realize that until they try and pull in.
Also some posters have real choke points, recently posted:
<snip>
Limitations
  • In order to get to back yard, the side areas are tight at 72" - so we'd like to stay under 60" width for the tractor - including bucket - 60" absolute TOP

.

lol, I missed that part of the OP's post. I'm guessing 12' wide is what he meant. I'm putting 9' wide x 10' high doors on the tractor "barn" I'm putting in.

If OP has a 12' high door...well...maybe a combine might fit in there lol.

The Massey Ferguson is the heaviest built tractor of the ones you are considering. All good choices though. Go drive them all.
