They don't teach common sense in college. That's a sad, but true...

I was surprised how well he overcame that incident.

Even as a teen-ager back in '55 or '56 - at the 4th of July display - where they fired the 50 cal M2. See post #28. I've wanted one of those. Now - here where I live it would be the ideal defense weapon. The down side - even if I could afford one - - a couple minutes worth of ammo would be beyond my financial situation.

I don't really think even an M2 would do much good - defense wise - with me standing there shouting - "bang, bang,bang" at the top of my lungs.

AH - well - fond hopes, up in smoke.
