Seriously, I did know my phone could shoot video and have taken losts of stills, but NEVER once used the video. Maybe not even a 6S. Was the 6, but had the better camera in it. Yes, I have started to take pictures of how stuff was hooked up.
I'm actually surprised you have never accidentally taken videos while trying to snap a still! This seems to happen to me occasionally. I have recorded my feet doing not much more than once! :confused2:

Remember the days of taking accidental photos, or accidently pressing "go" button on a super 8 camera? In those days an accident would cost you real money in exposed film that once exposed could not be unexposed. Now the only thing it cost's you is a second or two to delete the "junk" photos and videos. No, they don't make 'em like they used to, and I am very glad.

Me too! I sure take a lot more junk than when I was developing my own BW negs, and color slides! Haven't tried videoing or taking a still pic of a weld yet though. Wonder if it would hurt the sensors?

Probably would not hurt to try shade 10 or so glass in front of lens... If no welding glass, you get big bright ball of light...

Yes, but I suggested him taking a video of the volt meter on his service not the weld process.

FEL b26 has linear crack about 2/3 across back bottom weld. Any ideas on cost to hire a pro to come weld it? Inside the FEL bucket is intact. Also a three inch crack in excavator bucket on corner where one of the teeth are. How much to typically pay to weld that?

For mobile work I charge a $200 min. Edit: (minimum fee) ;)

Some people are more/less.

Where are you? You didn't fill out your location. If near Branson Mo. bring it by. I can fix it. I bought a welder a long time ago and taught myself how to stick weld. You could do that.

Gulp.

I had no idea what the going rate for mobile welding was. I should have given it more weight during my unemployed years, when I was pondering how to feed my family.
