Sorry to hear about your catfish. It's a terrible feeling.

I've been digging out my small pond and trying to get it cleaned up, deeper and just a bit bigger. The area that still held water was only a foot or so deep. I dug a pit next to it so it would drain and allow me to get to the muddy silt after it dried out. I must have had several hundred fish in there. Cats up to a pound, and all sorts of everything else. I was really surprised and excited to see that so many fish where still alive and doing well in only a foot of water!!!

Eddie, that's amazing that fish can live in that, is the whole area that mucky or just where you were working?

Boone, I thought you were supposed to let the catfish catch you when you noodled?

Brandi, third time is the charm!! Drought is over, you have the new aeration system, all is good this time around!!!

Oh yea it is Brandi, I told the jet stream to get the he// outa here and go south so all the weather systems will hit the NW, we will get a nice fall and all that rain will spill over and get you all, Thought it would be better than a hurricane:laughing:
