What the heck is an LS tractor? It looks like a version or a copy of certain models of New Holland. Is that the case, or is it just a coincidence that the appearance is so similar? Any one know where they're made, and how do they hold up?

Google is your friend. LS is a Korean tractor maker. (LS Cable). They've sold tractors under lots of names. Montana, McCormick, etc.

Yes, New Holland also re-brands a few of the machines, but not all.

LS has been making tractors for other brands for a long time. I believe they started selling under their own name 3-4 years ago in the US.

In addition to making tractors for Montana, FarmTrac, McCormick and New Holland, they also make tractors for Case IH.

Case IH: The FarmAll B series are rebranded LS
New Holland: The Boomer 30/35/40/50 are rebranded LS

not really going to learn much for LS web site, but you can learn alot for this site. I looked for a tractor for almost a year before buying a LS U5030C. So far very happy!
