nothing like starting out on the wrong foot.

One thing I try to do is make the paragraphs short, (no more than three lines) and leave a space in-between each paragraph.
If there is a 30 line paragraph I will skip it because it hurts my eyes.

Comments on some of the other post:
1. You only need one finger to type but with two you can get just as fast as someone with 10.
2. Old farmers can re-read their own post before posting.
3. Everyone can easily utilize spellcheck.

If you can't finish reading a post in 15 seconds the poster has not relayed his topic in a succinct manner.

14 . . . .15 . . ..end.

I know exactly what you mean! And, unless your computer is smarter than mine has been for 45 years, if it isn't typed RIGHT then the computer just refuses to understand, or worse, pretends it does and it's hard to figure out what it is thinking later. I helped computers put men on the moon and land the shuttle... and it wasn't done by ignoring the rules of computer programming or people communications.

Ha ha! It would take me 15 minutes to type what you just typed. I have trouble stopping my thumb from hitting the space bar. I'm a programmer by trade, so I use the computer all the time!

Please help me when you post.

If it is necessary for you to use the word "here" in your post, please tell us where you are. Put it in your post or put it in your profile. It will be a big help to figuring out what you're talking about.

And one more thing. I have difficulty with posts that don't have paragraphs and punctuation. I like capitalization, too, and hope you use it, but really can get along without it. There is nothing worse, though, than trying to plow through a post that is 30 lines long with no punctuation or paragraphs.

Please help me understand your posts.

Pretty please?

Aw, c'mon. It's a forum with a large audience of readers and contributors. I enjoy it a lot, and have learned a great deal about my tractor, work methods, maintenance, building, and a lot of other things. I read it every day, and what I like the most is to see what subject will pop up.

I appreciate the many comments I have received in response to my questions.

Sorry, I am a polite person but I don't do pretty please.

After about the third line, I could read it perfectly, and at a normal reading rate. By the time I got to your personal responses below the original copied post (which I had seen several times before), I could read you responses perfectly. It is rather amazing how the brain works.

By this you exclude all but the simplest, or shallowest, of posts..

I have always been amazed at grammar and punctuation Nazis, on how to forums,

I think that many people would love to be able to spell, punctuate properly, and us grammar correctly.

I know I do, (my mother in law thought she was so perfect in the English language and would complain to me on even listening to me talk, made her sick, and could hardly listen, as my language abilities, were not up to her standards. and I had school teachers act much the same way,

YOU know some thing, from where I stood those who critized me, when I was a child or an adult, they were all dumber than rocks, none of them could build a house, could fix there own car, or wire a house, rebuild an engine, design a machine, build some thing of there own design, or do much of any thing mechanical, many could not even check there own oil,

all they saw was there natural ability and strength, and said ever one should be able to do this as it is like child's play for me, so any one who can not do it is DUMB STUPID and LAZY. end of story,

but in the same picture, they never seemed to think that because they had no or little mechanical aptitude that they were lacking in any way, but one who was lacking with language skills was a DUMB LAZY IDIOT,

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think most want to communicate effectly,
but some find grammar and language skills, nearly impossible, some people are dyslexic, and see the printed language entirely different than one with out the miss wiring in the brain, but did you know that many of those people who have some learning disabilities many times are in the top of the population in mechanical skills and understanding,
Dyslexia is a reading and language comprehension disability caused by a failure of the brain to make an association between the sound of a letter and the letter itself. As is common with the human mind, when one area of the mind is challenged, other areas flourish and grow to compensate. The result is often a disability with benefits. Some of the benefits of dyslexia are enhanced creativity, the ability to make novel connections between ideas, and enhanced personality traits, such as patience and empathy. Those with dyslexia may also solve problems in ingenious ways and multitask efficiently.
One of the many irrefutable benefits of dyslexia is enhanced creativity. This asset improves many aspects of a dyslexic痴 life. Dyslexics often excel in the creative arts, exhibiting talent in painting, drawing, and storytelling. This creative aptitude more than likely grows from a dyslexic's need to learn using pictures in place of words.
A dyslexic痴 elevated creativity also allows her to solve complicated problems in innovative ways. This disability often amplifies a person痴 ability to manipulate three-dimensional objects in her mind and understand quickly how objects work together. Dyslexics often excel at engineering and mechanical vocations. What Are the Benefits of Dyslexia? (with picture)
so if some grammar guru comes to a mechanical forum and wants advice, HE, she, or They may have to step out of there comfort zone to glean the information they want from some one who is in there comfort zone,
because some may be wondering why is this idiot asking such dumb questions, even my dog most likely knows the answer to that one,
but they patently attempt to answer to the best of there ability, it may take them 30 mins to get a paragraph typed out and sources found, and corrected to what they can see, with what is wrong, in the English side of things, in a attempt to communicate,
