I hope Amsoil synthetic ATH was not a waste of $$$

A couple of years ago I called Kubota Corp here in the USA and asked if SUDT was synthetic. The answer was NO. So if anyone has any reason to believe it's synthetic - I'd like to see it.

OK, Why does it cost so darn much then, SUDT is a lot higher than the oil I used in my last Tractor (JD4400)

I was getting fluid for my 3830 and the mechanic at the dealer told me only to use the SUDT, I am not sure about it being synthetic or not? I am not sure what would make it super or so much more costly than UDT if it is not synthetic.

The reason I asked the question of SUDT being synthetic or not was because there was nothing stating it was synthetic on the plastic container. While certainly not proof that it is not synthetic, it Seems that if it were it would be stated on the packaging.

…Back to your original question… I think you will benefit in the long run running an actual synthetic rather than a ‘super duper’ or other non synthetic. Money well spent and that is what I plan to use at my next change, coming this spring. Speaking of $$$ how much did the Amsoil cost? KennyV.

I was told once that it was, but it sounds like you guys have each gotten quite a few more responses to the contrary than I have. Funny how I seem to learn some new things here None the less, there obviously is a performance difference with SUDT, i would guess you should see the same results with Amsoil.

I cant even begin to find a telephone number to call inside the USA! They kinda keep the phone numbers secret or something???
