OK! Here's the scoop!

Kubota SUDT <font color="blue"> IS NOT </font> a SYNTHETIC fluid! It is a blend of the good old "UDT" with modifying "ingredients" to give it a different viscosity! When I questioned the man about even items such as using "80-90" wgt gear oil in the front axle..he pulled out his book to read the specs and said that "as long as your using the specified materials called out in the book"...that "you're good to go!".

UDT or SUDT in the gearcase..or UDT vsSUDT vs 80-90 wgt in the front axle...DONT MATTER...but also in "extreme climates" you want want to use the "recommended fluids" for better performance and protection.

It is simply a multigrade, instead of a single grade.
